AGE VERIFICATION
AGE VERIFICATION
The tournament organizers intend to use a web-based process to verify, during the 4-Step player signup process, that the applicant player shall be at least twenty-seven (27) years of age at the time that the tournament begins. The member signup process shall use a single sign on (SSO) authentication protocol provided by Google integrated with a DocuSign online form, to collect the data safely and without risk to the applicant.
Applicants are rejected who:
Are younger than 27 years of age at the time the tournament begins; or
Cannot produce sufficient evidence regarding their age.
Age verification is extremely important to provide a level playing field across the entire tournament. As such, age verification is handled first in the 4-Step process to weed out any accidental attempts to register for the tournament by non-eligible applicants.
